Job Description/Major Responsibilities:

Amplified IT is looking for a Technical Sales Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the sale of software and services that help schools make the most of Google Cloud. The ideal candidate will have general technical expertise, work broadly across the company and enjoy building relationships with school IT leaders to promote evolving technology in education.

High Level Activities:

  • Act as subject matter expert on technical products for sales efforts; empowering sales team through training, collateral and joining sales calls.
  • Monitor pipeline and proactively engage with clients to accelerate sales funnel to aid in lead conversion.
  • Work with the technical delivery and development team to create sales positioning, process and relevant collateral for new and updated products.
  • Assist marketing in the creation of blog content and email campaigns that drives lead generation.
  • Analyse and provide insight into the sales pipelines for relevant products providing feedback to development teams.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a solutions sales role.
  • Background in technical consultation.
  • Balance of strategic and tactical skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Broad technical experience with IT technologies.
  • Prior development, IT administration and/or Education experience a plus.
