Amplified IT is entering our next phase of growth and looking to add a dedicated, driven Sales Manager to our sales department in Norfolk, VA. The Sales Manager will lead a team of 6-10 Sales Generalists to help thousands of schools across North America transform the way they educate.

Our Sales Manager will work across the business leading the development of strategy, sales processes and account management. As we are a mature startup, we expect our SM to establish their role but be flexible to take on other challenges as they appear.


  • Work with Amplified IT Management Team lay roadmap to 10x sales
  • Review / revise end to end sales/engagement process
  • Streamline sales processes while driving growth across all teams
  • Review and scope improvements to our business models from a sales perspective
  • Establish Account management direction and execution strategy
  • Structure and resource Sales / Account Management Team for growth
  • Mentor and coach internal team members to improve sales ability and build out lead conversion/generation strategies
  • Nurture internal teams to ensure cohesive and productive environment
  • Upskilling and hiring of relevant staff
  • Ensure Amplified IT is set up for successful bidding on State and Government contracts


  • 5+ years of sales experience with a history of meeting or exceeding targets in a technology organization
  • 3-5+ years of experience leading teams of 6+
  • Demonstrated ability to continuously increase effectiveness of team, recognizing opportunities for creating new systems, structures, and processes
  • Strong knowledge of reporting and dashboards; highly focused on data, numbers and process
  • Proven track record working in a high-volume, collaborative environment
  • Experience managing projects and motivating teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with proven ability to lead and manage projects with high levels of technical and/or functional complexity

  • Experience with the K-12 space in North America
  • Familiarity with EOS, Design Thinking, and/or other innovation methods
